Some awesome camera work in this backcountry skiing video filmed at The Canyons Resort in Utah. The Canyons is the largest of the three ski resorts located in Park City, Utah, the other two are Deer Valley and Park City Mountain Resort.

This is some of the best filming I’ve ever seen for an extreme skiing movie. There are some telemarkers in this video as well as some nice snowboarding off some cliffs that are just covered under a huge amount of snow. The terrain isn’t particularly hard and the skiers don’t do anything spectacular, but this is a great overview of what backcountry extreme skiing is for most of us. Loads and loads of champagne powder too. The skiers have a huge tail of powder snow behind them as the ski down the ski slopes.

Just can’t say it enough, the scenes in this video are amazing!

60cm (24 inches) of fresh powder makes for some amazing skiing conditions in the extreme skiing video filmed in the backcountry in Alta, Utah. Alta is famous for its backcountry and amazing snow conditions, the extreme skiers in this video know how rare conditions like these are and take full advantage of them. This is close to Salt Lake City, where the 2002 Winter Olympic Games took place.

The ski is blue and the snow is fresh, making for some of the best filming conditions. The skiers in this ski video don’t do anything crazy or any cliffs, but they have near perfect form and there is a bit of glade skiing too!

A guy crashes while going off some cliffs a the US Freeski Nationals. This is a championship where expert backcountry skiers compete showing what tricks they can do off natural obstacles such as rocks and cliffs. They championship was held in Snowbird, Utah. There’s some nice terrain out there.

This guy’s fall looks painful, but some nice skiing none the less.
